IN ALL THINGS, GIVE THANKS!

"...with prayers & supplication, & with thanksgiving make your request known unto the lord!"
Thanksgiving is the access code for powerful prayers.
First of all, prayer is not only about asking God to do something for us. That's just an aspect of prayer, but seems to be virtually the most practised dimension of prayer.
That in itself is erroneous & should be corrected.
Prayer is communication with God like a child would his/ her father. It involves greetings, familiarising, questions, requests, answers, etc.
The scripture above reveals to us the potency of thanksgiving in our everyday interaction with God. It says beyond all the wonderful things you want to ask from God, let THANKSGIVING be the vehicle for your requests.
Friend, in ALL things, give thanks.
Give thanks sincerely  for everything in & around your life, the good things, the not so good things, because all things are "working together" for your good.

For rest of the year we will pick one aspect of our lives daily to thank God for. This is how you open your heart to God miraculous dimensions because thanksgiving causes MORE to happen to you & for you!
PRAYER
Lord, teach me to make thanksgiving an integral part of my existence In Jesus Name. Amen.
